Cold & Ember is a small, independent site about home saunas, sauna heaters and cold plunges. We started it because shopping for heat and cold therapy gear is confusing: product pages are full of big claims, and many “review” sites copy each other without saying where their information comes from.
What we do
We research products and buying decisions so you can make a calmer, better-informed choice. That means reading manufacturer documentation and manuals, comparing published specifications, looking at installation and electrical requirements, reading owner feedback across many sources, and checking safety guidance from recognised bodies.
What we don’t do
We are honest about our limits. Unless an article clearly says otherwise, we have not personally tested the products we write about. We will never invent test results, measurements, quotes or prices. When we have done hands-on testing, the article will say so plainly and describe what we did.
How we make money
Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. See our Affiliate Disclosure and How We Review pages for details.
